Preparation
Preparation
- Wash your hands thoroughly and sterilize the feeding bottle, teat, and ring in boiling water for 10 minutes.
- Boil fresh drinking water and cool to approximately 40°-50° C / 104-122° F.
- Add the desired amount of cooled boiled water to the bottle (refer to the Table for measurements).
- Measure the recommended amount of formula powder (refer to the Table). Level the baby formula on the measuring spoon and add the powder to the water.
- Close the bottle and shake thoroughly until the formula is dissolved.
- Cool the formula to a drinking temperature of approximately 37° C / 98.6° F. Always test the temperature before feeding your baby.
Important Information:
- To preserve the natural lactic acid cultures (lactobacilli), avoid using water that is too hot when preparing the formula. The color of the infant formula powder may vary naturally due to the minerals it contains.
- Carefully follow the instructions for accurate preparation of the infant formula. Improper preparation or prolonged storage of the prepared bottle can lead to health issues, such as bacterial growth.
- Always prepare the formula fresh before every feeding and feed your baby immediately. Discard any leftover formula and do not reuse it.
- Thoroughly clean the bottle, teat, and ring after each use.
- Ensure the opened formula bag is tightly sealed after use. Store in a cool, dry place and use the contents within 3 weeks of opening.
- Do not heat the formula in a microwave, as this increases the risk of scalding.
