Preparation
Preparation
- Boil fresh drinking water and let it cool to approximately 40°-50° C / 104-122° F.
- Add half of the needed water to the baby bottle.
- Using the measuring spoon, scoop the formula powder and level it off. Put the recommended amount of formula into the bottle.
- Seal the bottle and shake it vigorously.
- Introduce the remaining water and shake the bottle vigorously once more.
- Cool the formula to a drinking temperature of around 37° C / 98.6° F. Use a thermometer to verify the temperature.
It is crucial to follow these preparation steps closely to ensure your baby gets the necessary nutrients. Only use the included measuring spoon, as altering the proportions of the formula powder could be harmful. Make sure to prepare fresh bottles for each feeding and not to reuse any leftovers. Avoid warming the formula in the microwave, as this can lead to overheating.
The suggested amount to drink and the number of bottles per day are only general recommendations. Your baby doesn't need to finish the whole bottle, and it's normal for individual differences to occur.
