Preparation

- Thoroughly wash your hands and sterilize the feeding bottle, teat, and ring by boiling them in water for 10 minutes.
- Boil fresh drinking water and let it cool to around 40°-50° C / 104-122° F.
- Pour the desired amount of boiled water (see Table) into the bottle.
- Measure the recommended quantity of formula powder (see Table), level it off on the measuring spoon, and add the powder to the water in the bottle.
- Securely close the bottle and shake it well.
- Allow the formula to cool down to a drinking temperature of about 37° C / 98.6° F. Verify the temperature before feeding.
To avoid harming the natural lactic acid cultures (lactobacilli), refrain from preparing the formula with water that is too hot.
Use a well-washed and sterilized bottle, teat, and ring. Utilize only the scoop provided in the package.
For sanitary reasons, always prepare feeds freshly and avoid making them in advance. Use prepared feeds immediately, and discard any leftovers at the end of feeding; ensure the bottle is consumed within 30 minutes. Do not heat feeds in a microwave, as hot spots may form, leading to scalding.
Discard any unused portions and check the expiration date on the side of the can. Once opened, HiPP 2 formula organic baby milk powder can be stored for up to 3 weeks in a dry place at room temperature.
