Preparation
Preparation
- Start by boiling fresh drinking water and letting it cool to approximately 40°-50° C / 104-122° F.
- Transfer the necessary amount of boiled water (refer to the table) to the bottle.
- Measure the advised quantity of milk powder (refer to the table). Evenly level the formula powder on the measuring spoon and add it to the water in the bottle.
- Tightly close the bottle and shake it vigorously.
- Let the mixture cool to a drinking temperature of approximately 37° C / 98.6° F. Verify the temperature, perhaps with a HiPP thermometer.
To prevent damaging the natural lactic acid cultures (lactobacilli), avoid preparing the food with water that's too hot.
The Hipp bio formula's quantity can vary from one feeding to the next. The suggested drinking amounts and number of bottles per day are only general guidelines. It's not necessary for your baby to finish the bottle completely. Please only use the provided measuring spoon! One levelled spoonful is recommended per 30 ml / 1.01 oz of water.
