Preparation
Preparation
- Boil fresh drinking water and cool it down to 50°C/120°F before mixing it with the formula.
- Add 2/3 of the required amount of boiled water into a clean and sterilized bottle.
- Use the measuring spoon provided with your formula (note that spoon sizes may vary by brand and even lot), and add the correct amount of formula powder (1 level spoon of powder per 1oz/30ml of water).
- Close the bottle with the nipple and cap, and shake it vigorously until all the powder has completely dissolved.
- Add the remaining water to the bottle and shake it again.
- Cool the mixture to drinking temperature (approximately 37°C/98°F) and always check the temperature before feeding your baby to avoid any potential burns.
It is important to follow the preparation instructions carefully to ensure that your baby receives the necessary nutrients. Use only the provided measuring spoon, as the correct proportions of formula powder are crucial for your baby's health. Changing the proportions without medical advice is not recommended. Always prepare fresh bottles and do not reuse leftovers. Avoid heating the baby food in the microwave, as there is a risk of overheating. The recommended drinking amount and number of bottles per day are only general guidelines. Your baby may not drink the entire bottle, and individual deviations are normal.
