Preparation
Preparation
- Boil fresh drinking water and cool to approximately 50°C / 122°F.
- Add half of the required water to the bottle.
- Fill the measuring spoon with formula powder and add the advised amount to the bottle.
- Close the bottle and shake thoroughly.
- Add the remaining water and shake again.
- Cool to drinking temperature of approximately 37°C / 98.6°F and check temperature with a thermometer.
Please follow the preparation instructions carefully. Following the correct measurements ensures that your baby receives all necessary nutrients. Use only the provided measuring spoon; one flattened spoonful of formula powder is equal to 4.4 g / 0.155 oz. Do not alter the proportions of the formula unless instructed to do so by a doctor. Incorrect preparation and storage can be harmful to your baby's health. Always make fresh bottles and do not reuse leftover formula. Do not heat the formula in a microwave, as this can cause overheating. The recommended amount of formula per day and the number of bottles are just general guidelines; individual babies may drink more or less. It is normal for babies to drink different amounts from one day to the next.
