Preparation

- Wash hands, then sterilise your feeding utensils according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Boil fresh water and let it cool for 30 minutes before adding the powder. Do not use artificially softened or repeatedly boiled water. Measure the required amount of water into a sterilised bottle.
- Using the scoop provided, add the correct number of leveled scoops to the bottle, leveling each scoop with the straight edge inside the lid.
- Secure a sterilised cap and shake well to dissolve the powder. Remove the cap and attach a sterilised teat.
- Cool the formula to natural body temperature. Always test the temperature of the liquid on your wrist before feeding your baby.
Important Information:
- For feeding, add 1 level scoop of powder to each 30 ml (1 fl oz) of water (freshly boiled and cooled). Refer to the feeding guide on the can, using it only as a guide since all babies are different.
- Always use a clean and sterilized bottle, teat, and ring. Only use the scoop provided in the pack.
- Prepare feeds freshly and do not prepare them in advance. Use prepared feeds immediately (within half an hour) and discard any leftovers.
- Avoid heating feeds in a microwave to prevent scalding and do not re-use leftovers.
- Check the expiry date on the side of the can. Once opened, store Kendamil Stage 1 milk powder for up to 3 weeks in a dry place at room temperature.
